    Here's What Makes MAPC Special!

Why should you contact the Mountain Area Pregnancy Center when you have other options?

Most women, when faced with the anxiety of an unplanned pregnancy, tell a friend first. Even before the news to the father of the child or a parent, women tend to confide in a trusted female friend.

Please consider choosing the relationships and resources available to you at the Mountain Area Pregnancy Center. Here's why?

  • Women who visit MAPC find ALL the accurate, complete information they need to make an informed decision about their pregnancy. YOU have the RIGHT to know all the facts.
  • You are not a paying client at the Mountain Area Pregnancy Center. Our services are free. We do not make money on your decision.
  • We care. That sounds trite in this era of marketing clichés, but you'll see what we mean. Your peer counsellor is just that: a peer --- a woman just like you who has probably experienced an unplanned pregnancy herself. The staff and volunteers at MAPC are willing to help you in many practical ways, as well as emotionally and spiritually throughout your pregnancy and afterwards. We will even match you up with one of our volunteer mentors.
